It started more than thirty years ago on a quiet street in Guadalajara, Jalisco — a small shop, a single display of huaraches, and a family with a clear belief: that this ancient Mexican sandal deserved to be worn far beyond our borders.
Three decades later, that same store still stands. The hands that build our sandals have changed; the standards have not. What began as a local store is now a bridge between Mexican artisans and customers in more than forty countries — and it is still, at heart, a family business.

Every Kwarachi pair is made in Sahuayo, Michoacán — a small town long recognized as the cradle of Mexican huarache making. We don't manufacture our sandals; we work hand-in-hand with the artisan workshops that do.
These are families who have been weaving leather, strap by strap, for generations. Their craftsmanship is not a technique we teach — it is a tradition we protect. Every pair you receive carries that lineage with it.
